How to Use Our Wrinkle Patches for Best Results

Wrinkle patches are a popular option for temporarily improving the appearance of fine lines. While they’re not a permanent fix or a substitute for long-term skincare, they can offer short-term smoothing and hydration benefits when used correctly.

That said, results depend heavily on how you use them and the type of patch. Not all patches are the same—some are silicone-based and work purely through occlusion, while others, like ours, are hydrogel-based and designed to enhance your skincare by sealing in active ingredients.

When applied properly, hydrogel patches can help reduce transepidermal water loss (TEWL), support ingredient absorption, and leave skin looking temporarily plumper—usually within 30 minutes or more. Here’s how to use them for best results, based on what the science actually supports.

1. Apply Over Skincare—Not Bare Skin

Unlike traditional silicone-only patches, our hydrogel patches are designed to work in tandem with your skincare, helping active ingredients absorb more efficiently by preventing water loss.

What to do:Start with clean skin. Apply your usual serums or moisturizers—especially hydrating or anti-aging formulas—and wait 1–2 minutes until your skin is slightly tacky, not wet. Then apply the patch.

2. Smooth the Skin + Apply Evenly

For best results, the skin under the patch should be in a neutral, smoothed-out state. Wrinkles form from repeated movements and structural decline—so if you apply a patch over creased skin, you may not see optimal improvement.

What to do:Use your fingers to gently stretch and smooth the area before applying. Then, press the patch down lightly, smoothing from the center outward to ensure full contact. Avoid pressing too hard or trapping air bubbles.

leave wrinkle patches on for at least 30 minutes

3. Leave On for At Least 30 Minutes

Our patches are clinically formulated to deliver benefits within 30 minutes or more through occlusion and ingredient delivery. While longer wear can offer extended hydration, a minimum 30-minute application is key to results.

What to do:Use them during downtime—morning prep, evening wind-down, or anytime your skin needs a reset. Use 3–4 times per week for best results.

4. Remove Gently

Tugging at the patch can pull at the skin and undo the smoothing benefits.

What to do:Peel slowly from one edge. If needed, moisten the patch slightly to ease removal.

5. Lock It In With Extra Hydration (Recommended)

After removal, your skin should look and feel refreshed. To maintain that effect, follow with a gentle moisturizer or mist to lock in the benefits—especially if you’re in a dry environment.

What Not to Do

Even the best wrinkle patches won’t work if you’re making these mistakes:

🚫 Applying to completely dry or bare skin (our patches are meant to seal in skincare).

🚫 Using over greasy/oily products that don’t absorb well (they can reduce adhesion).

🚫 Applying to creased or folded skin without smoothing first.

🚫 Wearing for too short a time (<30 minutes).

🚫 Reusing the patch beyond its intended use.

🚫 Expecting permanent results from one use.

The Bottom Line

Wrinkle patches aren’t a miracle cure, but when you use them right, they can be a game changer. Think of them as an overnight reset for your skin. Here’s what actually matters:

Use over skincare—not bare skin.

✔ Smooth out the area before applying.

✔ Be gentle when removing.

✔ Hydrate afterward (for optimal moisture).

✔ And most importantly—stick with it.

Now go slap one on, get some sleep!
